For example, the impacts of ethanol plants on corn, wine-making on grapes and tomato paste manufacture on tomatoes. Research includes issues such as feedstock prices, production of by-products and demand for transportation.
 
Product Differentiation, Attribute Marketing and Traceability
Strategies for creating, maintaining and enhancing credibility in the marketplace, including attribute marketing, traceability for food safety and origin, regional foods, trademark laws and geographical indicators. Analyses of (1) contract designs for processors to procure desired traits in farm output, (2) gains and losses caused by movement away from a commodity marketing system, and (3) supply chain for enhancing marketing of differentiated products.
