Ethnic Food Market: The Economic Research Service has identified three general demographic trends expected to shape future U.S. food markets: more diversity, more mature customers and U.S. population growth.

Grocery Industry: U.S. supermarkets had $602 billion in sales during 2012. The United States has 37,053 supermarkets with annual sales of $2 million or more. An average-sized supermarket now carries more than 38,718 different items for sale.

Kosher Industry Profile: The animal being slaughtered must be without disease or flaw. Kosher production prohibits the use of any drug, hormone, antibiotic or miscellaneous protein that is administered or added to the feed of an animal.

Trade Shows: A list of trade shows under eight categories: general food and beverage shows, foreign trade shows, ethnic food shows, international trade shows, natural food shows, organic food shows, wine trade shows and others.
