According to the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, “Specialty crops are defined in law as ‘fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits and horticulture and nursery crops, including floriculture.’ ” As other many of these commodity groups are explored in other sections, the list below are those that are less categorizable, but are qualifying crops and no less important.
