Suggested Lead: Locally grown foods have become popular as people across the United States are trying to find locally grown products. Finding producers of those products has been fairly difficult - but Craig Tordsen - Iowa State University Extension Value Added Ag Program Manager - says there is now a tool to help people find those locally produced products.

The Agricultural Marketing Resource Center is a great tool for people wanting to start a value-added ag business - Tordsen says. Producers are great at producing - but Tordsen says they have trouble marketing. He says MarketMaker is the link to the Marketing Resource Center that businesses need in order to find potential buyers.
